Founded in Clintonville, Wisconsin, in August of 2009, the Clintonville CHRONICLE strives to give its readers ‘100% Clintonville Area News.’ Covering the areas of Clintonville, Embarrass, and Bear Creek, the CHRONICLE focuses on only  information of local interest.

Everyone’s favorite newspaper, the CHRONICLE was awarded the 2009 Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce’s New Business of the Year Award after printing only twelve issues.  They were awarded the 2010 New Business of the Year Award, as well.

The CHRONICLE was also awarded Second Place in the Wisconsin Newspaper Association’s 2010 Better Newspaper Contest for Best Spot News Photo and Best Circulation Promotion.  They picked up eight more awards at the 2011 Better Newspaper Contest, including: First Place for Best Spot News Photo, Second Place for Best Sports Photo, Second Place for Best Editorial Page, Second Place for Best Outdoor Column, Second Place for Bill Payne Advertising Award, Third Place for Best Sports Photo, and Third Place for Best Breaking News Coverage.  They won up five more awards at the 2012 Better Newspaper Contest, including: First Place for Best Editorial Page, First Place for Best Newspaper Promotion, Second Place for Best Sports Photo, Second Place for Best Graphics, and Third Place for Best Front Page.  They picked up four more awards at the 2013 Better Newspaper Contest, including: Third Place for Best Graphics, Third Place for Breaking News Coverage, Third Place for Best Use of Local Photography, and Fourth Place for Best Special Section Editorial.  They won eight more awards at the 2014 Better Newspaper Contest, including: First Place for Best Editorials, First Place for Best General News Photo, First Place for Best Local Sports Column, Second Place for Best Environmental Reporting, Second Place for Best Sports Photo, Third Place for General News Photo, Third Place for Best Editorials, and Fourth Place for Best Local Column.

The CHRONICLE is produced by Rose Publications, LLC.  Rose Publications is a Wisconsin State Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and Owner Tricia Rose was awarded the 2012 State of Wisconsin Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the SBA.  The company was also recognized as second place winner of the Wisconsin Outstanding Woman-Owned Small Business at the 2012 Governor’s Marketplace Awards and Tricia Rose won runner-up as a Rising Star Award at the 2013 Awards.  The company was also recognized as the runner-up for Wisconsin Outstanding Woman-Owned Small Business at the 2014 Governor’s Marketplace Awards.
